Support from the people who built it, or who now look after it.
A website or system is never quite finished. Prices change, staff come and go, software needs updates and, now and then, something stops working. Support is us keeping an eye on all of that so you don’t have to.
For most small businesses that means three things: knowing straight away if the website goes down, keeping it secure and up to date, and having someone to send the small changes to. For bespoke systems it also means fixing problems, making careful improvements and giving straight advice when you are deciding what to do next.
Security and software updates kept on top of, so the site doesn’t drift out of date.
A plain answer when you are weighing up a change, a supplier or a new idea.
Changes made carefully and checked, not rushed onto a live site.
Problems are easier to fix early.
For websites on our hosting, support comes as a care plan on top of hosting.
See care plans or hosting prices.
If we built your system, or have taken one over, support is agreed with you directly: how quickly you need a response, what is covered, and how changes are planned and checked. We tell you what something will cost before we start.
For a care plan, yes: we can only watch and look after a website we can get at. If your site is somewhere else, we can move it across for you. For a bespoke system, talk to us about where it runs.
Updating text, swapping photos, changing opening hours or prices, adding a menu item or a new member of staff. If it turns out bigger, we say so and give you the cost first.
On any care plan we check it every 15 minutes. If it fails two checks in a row we email you, get on with fixing it, and email again when it is back with how long it was out.
Usually, yes. We’ll look at it first and tell you honestly whether it is worth looking after as it is, or needs work.
